How essential are Omega 3s?

 

Essential Fatty Acids are a hot topic in today’s world.  Research has shown that Omega 3 fatty acids are an important part of brain development.  Majority of people are not getting the right amount of fatty acids in their diets.  There are two major sources for Omega 3’s

Marine Life – Salmon, Sardine, tuna, cod liver oils
Plants Derived – Flaxseeds, Walnuts, Pumpkin Seeds
